Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy has paid a second tribute to her beloved boyfriend after his tragic death.

The TikTok influencer took to social media to share more words with her followers about her struggles in the aftermath of the former One Direction star's shock death. In it, she revealed the handwritten note 'the love of her life' left her, despite his request for her not to read it.

In her tribute, Kate explained: "A few weeks ago, we sat outside on a beautiful evening manifesting our lives together. I keep your note close, even though you told me not to look at it. It said, 'Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444.' Liam, I know we'll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned. You'll always be with me. I've gained a guardian angel."

Concluding her shattering post, Kate wrote: "I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond, carrying our dreams and memories with me everywhere I go. Forever yours, Katelyn 444." The number 444 conveys a message of love, support as well as guidance from 'your angels', according to pop culture.

Alongside her sweet words, Katie shared an image of the handwritten note from Liam as well as a selfie Liam took of the two enjoying Disneyland. Liam stuck his tongue out and rocked a Minnie Mouse headband.

Kate also said in her tribute that her "heart is shattered in ways I can't put into words" and that he "brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone- millions of fans, your family, friends, and especially me. You are so incredibly loved."

She further penned: "None of this feels real, and I can't wrap my head around this new reality of not having you here. I'm struggling to figure out how to live in a world without you by my side. Together, we got to be kids again, always finding joy in the smallest things."

Liam died aged 31 after he fell from the third-floor balcony at the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, last Wednesday evening. In an official statement given to The Associated Press, Argentinian police disclosed that the father-of-one had "jumped from the balcony of his room", apparently dispelling any notions of an accidental fall or foul play. City ambulance service provider spokesman Alberto Crescenti said he had fallen around 40 metres and suffered "severe injuries which were incompatible with life."
