Jake Paul has announced that he plans to take a break from boxing after 'knocking Mike Tyson out'.

YouTuber-turned-professional boxer Paul will take on 'Iron Mike' on Friday, November 15 in Arlington, Texas. The pair will fight at the AT&T Stadium, home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, with up to 90,000 spectators set to be in attendance and thousands watching from home via Netflix.

The matchup will mark Paul's 12th professional fight, with his only loss coming against Tommy Fury in February 2023. He's since won his last four and plans to make it five-in-a-row against Tyson, who's 58 and last fought in 2020 for an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr.

But Paul, 27, is set to make fans wait longer than usual for fight No.13, with the former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world set to be his final opponent before a hiatus.

Speaking to streamer Adin Ross, Paul was asked for what's next for him after the fight. "I feel like I'm gonna take a little break," he replied. "I'm gonna pull an Adin Ross and just disappear, man. I'm just gonna go off-grid.

"I'm gonna keep fighting for sure. But I think my plan is to just get through November 15, have the best performance possible, knock Mike Tyson out and then just see how I'm feeling based off of that."

Tyson, though, recently teased a rematch when he appeared on Impaulsive, the podcast hosted by Jake's brother, Logan. "This is what's gonna happen, to make everything short," he said. "Two men are gonna fight, someone's gonna win, they may fight again, and then they go to their separate banks and life goes on."

Paul firmly believes that he'll beat Tyson, who retired from professional boxing in 2005 following a defeat to Irishman Kevin McBride. "One shot could change the whole entire fight. At the end of the day there's always going to be critics no matter what you do," he added.

"That's the nature of humanity... you can never satisfy people so I don't waste my energy trying to do that. I'm just doing what I think is cool and that's fighting Mike Tyson."

The 27-year-old also said during August face-off: "You're going to see on his record; Jake Paul KOs Mike Tyson. I'm not here to do s*** except make a bag. Every time fighters sit across from me and it's 'YouTuber this and Disney kid that' and they end up on the canvas... this is going to be no different.

"I brought this deal to this old-ass motherf*****, we signed the contract with Netflix and we brought him the deal. You're welcome, my son."
