Justin Bieber 'disgusted' and struggling 'mentally' after Sean 'Diddy' Combs' sex charges, source claims

Following Sean 'P Diddy' Combs' arrest and charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, his previous relationship with a young Justin Bieber has been under intense scrutiny

Justin Bieber was reportedly told to "stay as far away as possible" from any P Diddy related news amid the rapper's upcoming trial.

The musician, 54, whose real name is Sean Combs, was arrested and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution in September. He continues the deny all charges and will face trial next May, a judge confirmed on Thursday.

However, following the Bad Boy Record founder's arrest and claims made against him since, his previous friendship with a young Justin Bieber has come under intense scrutiny. Resurfaced clips from Justin as a teen with the rapper have cause fans to question the pair's past friendship.

Now, a source has told US Weekly that Justin was "advised to stay as far away as possible from anything and everything related to Diddy". They added Justin wants "nothing to do" with Diddy, and claimed the Lonely singer, 30, is "in a hard place mentally", adding that he was "completely disgusted" by the claims.

An insider claimed: "He [Justin] has such a history with Diddy and the allegations against him have been hard to process." They added that Justin - who recently became a father after Hailey Bieber gave birth to their son - "wants to protect himself".

"His happiness being a dad has outweighed his anxiety about Diddy," the source continued.Justin has previously discussed his mental health issues and took a break from music to focus on his mental health. Speaking in 2020 on his YouTube documentary titled Justin Bieber: Next Chapter, the singer revealed he experienced “consistent” pain when he was at the peak of his fame as a teenager.

“There was times where I was really, really suicidal,” he said. “Like, man, is this pain ever going to go away? It was so consistent, the pain was so consistent. I was just suffering, right? So, I’m just like, man, I would rather not feel this than feel this." He went on to encourage people to talk openly about their mental health struggles.

Justin has not personally spoken out about Diddy or his arrest and charges and has not been active on Instagram. Hailey, meanwhile, is said to have been supporting her man through the saga. She recently posted a throwback photo of her husband topless and sticking his middle fingers up at photographers, and captioned the image "Mood." An alleged insider claimed the mum-of-one decided to post the throwback image to "show the world how she was feeling about the whole situation".

Speaking to Daily Mail, the source said the photo she chose was 'extremely telling'. They said: "Out of the 100s of photos of Justin giving the middle finger, she had to choose one from 2017 that was taken before he got back together with [his ex Selena Gomez] again."

In an apparent show of support by his fans, Justin's tune Lonely has recently had a huge uplift in sales. His second single, Lonely, from his sixth studio album titled Justice has had a "1,400% increase in pure purchases in the span of just a few days," Forbes has reported. The week before there had been less than 100 copies sold and the rise in purchases comes after fans began questioning the tune's lyrics.

On one part of the track, Justin sings: "And everybody saw me sick/And it felt like no one gave a s**t/ They criticised the things I did as an idiot kid. What if you had it all/ And it felt like nobody to call? Maybe then you'd know me/'Cause I've had everything/ But no one's listening/ And that's just lonely. I'm so lonely. Lonely."
