Presenter Laura Woods paid herself a huge bonus after her move to ITV.

The broadcaster paid herself a massive £400,000 dividend to celebrate her new ITV and TNT Sports jobs. The 37-year-old has covered several different sports and it seems her earnings went up by a lot when she left talkSPORT in June 2023.

She left her role as the host of the station's breakfast show after three years to become TNT Sports' lead Champions League anchor. Laura is also the face of ITV's England and FA Cup coverage and fronted several Euro 2024 matches.

Documents from the company in charge of her TV earning show that she paid herself almost half a million pounds which is the equivalent of £35,000 a month. This is the first time that Laura has paid herself since setting up the business in 2014.

Laura also banks an advance worth £512,292 according to accounts up to the end of 2023. After the payout, the business still has assets worth £635,247 including £460,501 in the bank.

Laura is thought to have earned around £250,000 a year while working at talkSPORT and is said to have received a substantial pay rise after signing for TNT Sports.

The TV star recently announced that her partner and former Love Island star Adam Collard had popped the question and asked her to marry him. Adam got down on one knee during a stroll on the beach with his pregnant fiancée, with a photographer on hand to capture the moment Laura said yes.

Sharing the happy news on Instagram with her 765,000 followers, pregnant Laura told fans: "And just like that… You make me happy @adamcollard Thank you @carbisbayestate - the place we fell in love and now the place we got engaged, you made it so special. What a summer x."

The couple are set to become first-time parents later this year after announcing Laura's pregnancy in July. She took to Instagram at the time to share the news at the time, posting a heart-melting ultrasound picture to announce the couple's pregnancy news.

The sweet photo also featured their pet dog looking up at the excited pair while they both held the baby scan image. Laura sweetly captioned her post: "Hey, baby," followed by two pink hearts.

The duo officially became an item in October 2023 and have been showcasing their blossoming relationship with cosy social media updates. Adam has previously spoken about being excited to have children with Laura.

He explained: "I'm protective, whether it's Laura, or my family, my friends. I want to get married. I want to have kids as well. I've always thought, what type of person will I be? How can I protect my kids?"

"Obviously I've never had a kid, but I don't think I'll be plastering it all over [social media]. I want them to have a fair fight and a chance not to be judged straight away. As long as my really close circle knows exactly who I am, I don't care. I think you have to take everything with a pinch of salt."
