Travis Kelce managed to catch girlfriend Taylor Swift's comeback performance in the United States, coinciding with meeting WNBA sensation Caitlin Clark at her latest gig.

Despite his tight schedule with the Kansas City Chiefs, he was able to jet off to Indianapolis to watch Swift mesmerise fans on her US tour's closing leg. Surprising Swift by showing up at her concert, Kelce also crossed paths with Clark, a self-confessed fan of both the NFL star and the pop icon.

Chatting about his encounter, Kelce remarked: "I saw Caitlin Clark; it was so cool catching up with her. She was into the show for sure. She was there with her mom and a few friends... she's a Swiftie through and through man. Loves the show.

"I went to Night Two, she had already been to night one. I think she's just having fun. Going up to the shows and taking her friends and family and getting everybody to experience Tay up there on stage."

Swift's tour has been nothing short of historic, racking up over $1 billion since its launch in March 2023 in Arizona. With stops including Europe, Asia, Australasia, and across America, Swift's tour is the first ever to break the billion-dollar mark.

Having wrapped up her final shows in the United States, Swift is now set to take her tour north to Canada. She's scheduled for an impressive six performances in Toronto and three in Vancouver.

After this, Swift plans to step back from the stage for a while to focus on creating new music, following the release of 'The Tortured Poets Department' earlier this year. Meanwhile, her boyfriend Kelce is back on the field with the Chiefs, who have maintained their undefeated status in the NFL after consecutive wins, making them strong contenders for the Super Bowl.

In other news, Clark will also be taking a break from her career, as the WNBA won't be returning for another six months. When she does return to the court, the Indiana Fever star will work with a new head coach in Stephanie White, who is returning to Indianapolis having played for and coached the team before.

"We know how much of a legend she is in Indiana," Clark told reporters when asked about White. "I think that’s really cool. Playing against her, I would say I felt like her teams always had the best scouts against us. I think that just speaks to her knowledge of the game and her way to analyze, and she clearly was on to something. Hopefully, in turn, now that she knows how to stop us, that should be a good way to know how to [help us] beat certain things as well."
