Ozzy Osbourne has opened up about why he can't go on tour in true Ozzy style candidly claiming "I'm nearly f***ing dead!"

The Black Sabbath singer joked as he revealed details of his health issues after undergoing seven surgeries in the last five years and while battling Parkinson's disease which he was diagnosed with in around 2003. Ozzy, 75, has struggled to walk since he had surgery on his spine following a fall in 2019.

He said: "I went to the doctor's and you assume everybody knows what they're doing. My son Jack has a video of me going into surgery, saying, 'I'll see you in a few minutes'. I haven't walked properly since."

Ozzy also admitted to The Sun that too much blame for his disability has been placed on his Parkinson's since the surgery. He explained: "I mean, when I came off the quad bike in 2003, I still did tours and I had Parkinson's back then. It was THAT f*****g surgery."

Ozzy opened up about his health in a new chat

But Ozzy is happy with his life and says he has no regrets and wouldn't change a thing if he could do it all again, confessing that wife Sharon Osbourne has previously asked him what he might change and he said nothing as it's been a great time. Ozzy's ongoing health issues have caused a delay in the family moving back to the UK.

Sharon previously confirmed that they wanted to return "home" after years living in the US on their family podcast The Osbournes Sharon discussed their plans to head back to England admitting the plan has been in motion for years. She also admitted the move would be an opportunity for Ozzy to "live his life."

Talking with Ozzy and their children Kelly, 38, and Jack, 37 she said: “This is what I’ve learned: You can’t plan anything. I just feel that I wanna go home. "I wanna give your father a chance to live his life. We can do more what we want more in England than we can do here.”

The Black Sabbath star can no longer perform live

Ozzy previously told the Daily Mail: "We’ve been planning this for the last four f–king years." The chart star had to pull out of a series of live shows after announcing his retirement from touring due to his poor health.

A statement posted to his social media last February saw him confess to being “not physically capable” of continuing to perform around the world after undergoing spinal surgery. The star admitted that while his “singing voice is fine,” he was struggling with his health and his battle with Parkinson's disease and “never would have imagined that my touring days would have ended this way.”
