BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Karen Hauer supported after 'tough' weeks for 'brave boy'

Karen Hauer has been flooded with messages after sharing an update on her beloved dog. The Strictly Come Dancing star admitted to being in tears last month as she worried about her pet pooch, Marley.

At the time, the dancer had already told her fans and followers that her dog Marley was sporting a recovery cone due to an issue with one of his paws and she and her partner Simon Davidson wanted to stop him licking it.

However, the so-called 'cone of shame' didn't help and Marley managed to get to his paw and after trying to tend to him herself ahead of training for the BBC One dance contest, she later shared a photo of Marley being comforted by her rugby star beau in the waiting room of the vets.

She shared the update towards the end of September: "Lil Marley at the vets. Had a little procedure done to his paw. My brave little man. [Simon] held him and I cried." Simon also shared a photo of their pet pooch and said: "An even bigger cone of shame [face holding back tears emoji]. Bless him!"

Now, Karen has updated her loyal followers once again and revealed they'd finally discovered the 'culprit' of Marley's problems. Sharing pictures of his latest visit to the vets, with one of Simon holding him up in his medical cone, the BBC star explained: "Marley Moo was a brave boy today.

"The past couple of weeks have been tough on this little man and we finally found the culprit, 'Grass seed'. Thank you to the amazing team #parkveterinarycentre for taking such good care of our boy."
