Rylan Clark left red-faced as mum reveals she did domestic job for him live on air

Rylan Clark has been left red-faced after his mum, Linda Clark, revealed live on his BBC radio show that she completed a domestic job for him.

In a hilarious segment of BBC Radio Two's 'Rylan on Saturday' yesterday afternoon (Saturday, October 6), the much-loved radio host welcomed his mum, Linda Clark, aka the "Queen of Stepney Green" onto the show.

When Rylan asked his mum what she'd been up to that day, Linda revealed she'd been out for her "jabs" and had popped into her son's home, where Rylan said she "stole a screw" from him.

However, she also disclosed live on air that she'd completed a domestic chore for her son that day, with Rylan then offering an explanation to listeners "for the record".

Linda said: "Well, I popped into you, didn't I? Whilst I had me jabs", to which Rylan replied: "And you stole a screw off me."

She continued: "Oh, I've done that, yeah. Done that. That's all done there. I've took that back and your thing. Yeah, and I took your bit of washing back."

Rylan responded: "What washing? Mum, don't...stop...leave my washing!" However, Linda went on to say: "I thought I might as well hang it out; it's a lovely....wash it and hang it out. It's a lovely day today."

The BBC Radio Two star said: "Oh, alright. If it makes you happy, you do it. But just for the record, I don't tell her to do this; she just does it."

Rylan and Linda, who appear together on Celebrity Gogglebox, recently enjoyed a trip to Marbella with a group of friends, reports the Express.

However, on a previous holiday to Spain, Linda suffered from a fall and broke her arm and leg, leading to Rylan arranging a private flight back to the UK for rehabilitation.

On the latest trip, the pair were pictured together by the beach, with Rylan adding the caption: "The best holiday. Sad to be home but amazing memories." He also wrote in the comments: "Scroll along to see Linda loving life."

Fans quickly responded to the post, with @punkyindielass writing: "You Rylan are a special lovely person and I love how you love your mum. You look like you’ve made some wonderful memories."
