Families have paid tribute to their loved ones after five people died in a horror crash on the M6. Dad Jaroslaw Rossa, 42, his two sons Filip, 15 and Dominic, seven, and Jade McEnroe, 33, were killed when the car they were travelling in collided with a Skoda travelling the wrong way down the M6.

The driver of a Skoda, a 40-year-old man from Cambridgeshire, was also killed. Jade's son Arran was airlifted to hospital following the crash and is being treated for serious injuries.

Chef Jaroslaw was identified after his employer Wagamama paid tribute to him, calling him a 'cherished chef and friend'. Now Kamila, the mother of Filip and Dominic, has paid tribute to her two sons after they died in the crash.

In a statement released by Cumbria Police, Kamila said: “We are heartbroken at the passing of our beloved angels - Filip and Dominic. Filip was very intelligent, sensitive and full of love. We will never forget his smile, open arms, and the words "tuli, tuli" (hugs, hugs).

"He was fascinated by computer games but also incredibly good at chess. He loved chemistry and dreamed of studying at the University of Glasgow. Dominic was always smiling, very resolute and sociable.

"He was extremely caring, always thinking of others first, and the first to help if someone was in trouble. Always surrounded by a group of friends of all ages.

"He loved dinosaurs and Pokémon, but most of all he loved penguins and dreamed of adopting one. Our lives will never be the same again.”

Jade McEnroe, 33, was also killed in the crash. Her parents paid a tribute to their daughter, saying: “Our beloved daughter Jade, you are so loved, and we will miss you every day. You are a very much-loved mummy to Arran.”

Arran's father has thanked everyone involved in helping look after his son. He said: “I would like to thank everyone for their kind messages, to the emergency services and the members of the public that assisted at the scene”

Jade McEnroe was named as having died in the crash

The collision happened on October 15 just after 16.00, when the families had been travelling home from Legoland. Police had responded to reports of a Skoda travelling southbound on the northbound carriageway of the M6.

Officers were on their way to the scene when an update came in saying that the Skoda had been involved in a head on collision with another vehicle. Eyewitnesses stuck in stationary traffic for over three hours described seeing 'black smoke and flames' from the crash.
