BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans left ‘disturbed’ and ask ‘is Toyah back’
by Liv Clarke · Manchester Evening NewsBBC Strictly Come Dancing fans were left “confused” and “doubted” themselves when they thought they saw former contestant Toyah Willcox during Saturday night’s show. Viewers were convinced that actress Sarah Hadland resembled Toyah, who lost the dance-off two weeks ago.
This week 12 celebrities battled it out on the dancefloor to try and secure a spot on the Halloween special next Saturday, and hopefully go on to lift the glitterball trophy. For tonight’s show Sarah performed the Samba with her partner Vito Coppola.
The pair wore matching colourful pink and yellow outfits, with Sarah’s hair done in a bouncy blonde bob. But viewers thought the resemblance to Toyah’s hairstyle was uncanny and took to X to share their thoughts.

Some viewers were so convinced that they had to double check she had gone. @elfriedac said: “I keep thinking Sarah Hadland is Toyah tonight so much I doubted myself and checked that she had been eliminated.” @flourpower28 added: “How much did Sarah look like Toyah? I was genuinely confused at points.”

One fan said it left them feeling “disturbed”. @Msgrumpytoyou said: “LOVED the outfit but please do not put Sarah in a Toyah wig again. It really disturbed me.”
