BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Janette Manrara supported after '24 hour' family updates

Janette Manrara has been flooded with messages from fans after sharing two personal updates. It started when the dancer and presenter revealed she got to briefly reunite with her brother Alex as his visited the UK from Miami.

He got to join his sister last week behind the scenes at Strictly Come Danci ng's spin-off show It Takes Two, which she takes it in turn to host live every week night alongside Fleur East.

Alongsdie pictures of the pair together on the It Takes Two set as well as adorable snaps of Alex getting to spend time with his neice, Lyra Rose, Janette said: "12 hrs spent w/ my brother @fizzymanrara in London.

"Family is so far, but we are always so close in our hearts! Grateful he was able to spend some time with/ Lyra. Really want her growing up knowing and loving her Uncle Fizzy no matter how far away he is. I love you Alex."

Responding to the post, @ilovejanettex said: "Aww how special." @misschatterbox3 replied: "So precious." @allthingskps_ posted: "Aww, so beautiful." @lin3ssen added: "Seize every moment or occasion. Sweet pictures."

Since then, Janette has taken to social media to share how she and her husband Aljaz Skorjanec got some rare time to spend together with their one-year-old daughter.

Janette has been holding down the fort at home while Aljaz competes in this year's Strictly alongside former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri following his return to the BBC One dance contest for its 2024 series after a two-year hiatus.

Sharing picture of them making the most of the autumnal weather in Cheshire, whre they moved last year ahead of their first child's birth, Janette said on Instagram: "Magical weekends. Daddy home for just 24 hrs, but the best kind of food for the soul."

Gorka Marquez was among the first to respond to the post, and alongside a face holding back tears and a love heart eyes emoji; he wrote: "So cute." Aljaz's dance partner Tasha also commented: "Omg the cutest!!!"

And Janette's fans and followers were left gushing over the adorable family snaps. @strictly_jaljaz said: "Awww this is so heartwarming." @mzforr80 commented: "The best moments. Aww I miss my lad being that teeny." @janet.bartlett.94 wrote: "Lovely family time nothing more precious, Lyra is so cute."
