EPL: I won’t be the one to sack Ten Hag – Man Utd co-owner Sir Ratcliffe

Manchester United co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, has said he won’t be the one to decide on Erik ten Hag’s future.

Ten Hag is under serious pressure at Old Trafford after a run of four games without a win.

The Red Devils face a crunch fixture at Aston Villa on Sunday and Ratcliffe, who is expected to watch the game at Villa Park, has said it will not be his call if the club decides to make a change.

When asked by the BBC whether he still has faith in Ten Hag, Ratcliffe said: “I don’t want to answer that question. I like Erik. I think he’s a very good coach but at the end of the day it’s not my call, it’s the management team that’s running Manchester United that have to decide how we best run the team in many different respects.”
