Another bomb threat in the temple town of Tirupati triggered panic after a staff member of the ISKCON temple reported a threatening email claiming ISIS terrorists would blow the temple. Following the report, local police conducted thorough searches at the ISKCON Temple using bomb squads and dog units, finding no explosives.

This is the fourth hoax mail that the city received in the last three days.

Earlier this week, three hotels in the town received bomb threat, heightening the anxiety among residents and devotees. An FIR was registered by the Tirupati East Police, and a probe was launched into the matter.

Circle Inspector Srinivasulu confirmed the incident and assured that efforts were underway to identify those responsible for the threats.

"Three hotels received bomb threat alerts. An FIR has been registered regarding the email, and the case is being investigated from various angles. We will soon trace the culprits, and those behind the email will be identified after the investigation is completed," said the police official.

Thorough searches of the hote in the city were conducted by the police after receiving a phone call claiming bombs were planted. The searches, carried out by the bomb squad, began at 10 PM and continued until 2 AM.

The hotels that received the bomb threat included Leela Mahal, Kapila Theertham, and Alipiri areas. The email reportedly cited "international pressure" following the recent arrest of DMK's Jaffer Sadiq.

Saqid is a former member of Tamil Nadu's ruling party DMK who was arrested in February this year by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on charges of smuggling narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.

Nothing suspicious was found after a thorough search of the three hotels were conducted with the help of sniffer dogs.
