Sailing-New Zealand bounce back to 5-2 America's Cup lead over Britain
· CNA · JoinBARCELONA : New Zealand regained the initiative in their America's Cup defence on Friday, beating the British challengers to extend their lead to 5-2 in the first-to-seven series.
Britain got across the line first after pre-start skirmishes, but the Kiwis were able to capitalise on a favourable wind shift on the right hand side of the course to seize an early lead, which they extended to win the race.
A second race is scheduled for later on Friday.
