PS5 Pro update as pre-orders available at Amazon, very and Game ahead of launch tomorrow

by · Daily Record

It's the moment gamers have been eagerly awaiting for, as the PlayStation Five Pro is officially about to go on general sale.

The latest gaming console claims to provide "the most impressive visuals ever possible" from a PlayStation. Available to buy from tomorrow (November 7), the highly coveted console will have a launch price of £699.

Pre-orders went live for gamers in September via the PlayStation website, while more retailers began to follow. Although stock was initially limited, it seems that there is still a decent amount of stock to ensure everyone has the chance of getting one this time round.

However, as we have witnessed with the launch of the PS5 in 2020, these in-demand consoles can sell out within just minutes of their release. This is where a pre-order can come in handy for anyone who doesn't want to miss out.

If you still haven't pre-ordered the machine, then we have provided below a round-up of retailers you can still do so, alongside some further information on all the new benefits of the PS5 machine.

What is the PlayStationFive Pro?

The Pro is an update on the PlayStation Five, following the slim version of the console that went available to buy in 2023.

Designed by the world's greatest gaming creators, the games machine features a variety of new improvements that enhance your gaming experience. There's also 2TB of built-in storage that can store all of your favourite games.

Among the improvements is the PlayStation Super Spectral Resolution (PSSR). This provides "super sharp clarity" on your 4K TV, while an AI-enhanced resolution offers ultra-high definition play.

An optimised console performance provides a "silky smooth" game play and "consistent frame rates". Lastly, advanced ray tracing is said to provide a "next level realism" that provides high quality visuals while you explore other game worlds.

It's also got the ability to play over 8,500 PS4 games, with a Game Boost feature allowing you to enjoy faster and smoother versions of your favourite PS5 and Ps4 games.

Meanwhile, an innovative DualSense wireless controller allows you to really harness the power of the console, as a dynamic sensory and adaptive triggers simulate the physical impact of the game you are playing.
