Fuming Real Madrid are reportedly set to snub tonight's Ballon d'Or ceremony completely - after learning Vinicius Jr will lose out to Rodri.

The prestigious award ceremony takes place in Paris and it had looked tight between the Brazil winger and Man City playmaker to win it. Both have enjoyed stellar seasons, Rodri winning the Premier League with City last season before conquering the Euros with Spain, while Vinicius fired Real to La Liga and Champions League glory. Leaks earlier on Monday had suggested Vinicius had won out in the voting.

But now it's being widely reported in Spain that it is in fact Rodri set to win the award at the 68th ceremony. And that's led to a furious backlash from Real - with Fabrizio Romano and others claiming they will now not send ANYONE from the club to Paris.

It means Jude Bellingham, who wasn't thought to be a frontrunner but still expected to rank prominently, won't be in situ, and neither will Vinicius who will likely finish as runner-up.
