Liam Payne given heartbreaking instruction during 'rampage' moments before death

Staff are understood to have said he was "destroying everything in his room" and was "visibly out of his mind".

Liam Payne was told to return to his room by worried hotel staff during a drug-fuelled rampage moments before he plunged to his death from a balcony within the building, it has been claimed.

The 31-year-old passed away after plummeting to the ground at a complex in Buenos Aires, Argentina, while he is said to have been under the influence of drink and drugs.

And it has now bneen claimed that hotel staff asked him to return to his room after a rampage saw him "visibly out of his mind" and "destroying everything in his room".

The Argentinian authorities have claimed that the One Direction singer "jumped from a hotel room balcony" after police were called to reports of a man at the hotel acting aggressively.

The Mirror reports Hotel Casa Sur's head of reception had made two 911 calls, asking for "someone to come" after disclosing that a guest was "off his head on drugs and is destroying everything in his room".

According to LA NACIÓN, Liam went down to the hotel lobby, "visibly out of his mind" and the staff who interacted with him asked him to return to his hotel room.

But minutes later, the impact of his body was heard when he fell from the third floor into the internal courtyard of the hotel. Before his heartbreaking death, the hotel called 911.

In the call, they are claimed to have said: "We have a guest who's off his head on drugs and is destroying everything in his room. We need someone to come.”

The head of reception had to make a second callas the line went dead and repeated his request to the female responder and said: "I don’t know if the guest's life is in danger.

"The room has a balcony and we are afraid he might do something." Seconds later the hotel employee, who identified himself only by his first name of Esteban, added: "Just send an ambulance, only an ambulance."

Following his death, Liam's One Direction bandmates, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles, released a joint statement expressing their devastation over their friend's death.

Posting the comment on Instagram, it read: "We're completely devastated by the news of Liam's passing. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say.

"But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly. The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever.

"For now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and the fans who loved him alongside us. We will miss him terribly. We love you Liam."

A number of personal statements were also released by the stars, including one from Louis where he made a vow to Liam's son, Bear.

In his post, Louis said: "I want you to know that if Bear ever needs me I will be the Uncle he needs in his life and tell him stories of how amazing his dad was. I wish I got chance to say goodbye and tell you one more time how much I loved you."
