Eric Cantona wants to throw Man Utd in a 'big bag of s***' as icon froths over 'scandalous' Sir Alex Ferguson call

The Old Trafford legend has been removed from his £2.1m per year ambassadorial role by Sir Jim Radcliffe

Eric Cantona wants to throw everyone at Man Utd in a "big bag of s***" after they ditched Sir Alex Ferguson from an ambassadorial role in an effort to cut costs.

Billionaire Sir Jim Radcliffe, who has purchased a minority stake in the Old Trafford club and asssumed control of football operations at the Premier League behemoth. But he's not exactly winning many friends as he wields the axe to a legend. And the call to fire Fergie from his £2.1million-per-year gig has not gone down well. The club's greatest ever manager is still revered by staff and players past and present and is a god to United fans.

And now one of his best has come out swinging, branding the move "scandalous" and insisting that his former gaffer should have free reign at the club he built until he shuffles off this mortal coil. Posting on instagram, the former France international turned actor Cantona said: 'Sir Alex Ferguson should be able to do anything he wants at the club until the day he dies.

"Such a lack of respect. It's totally scandalous. Sir Alex Ferguson will be my boss forever! And I throw them all in a big bag of sh**!"
