Liam Payne's final public appearance has resurfaced following the tragic news of his death, with fans branding it a 'cry for help' as he told them 'we have a lot to talk about'

Liam Payne, the former One Direction star, tragically passed away on Wednesday at the age of 31 after falling from a third-floor balcony in a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The musician had been holidaying in the South American country with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy.

During his stay, he was seen supporting his ex-bandmate, Niall Horan, at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires.

In what turned out to be his last public appearance, Liam was filmed interacting with fans and singing along to 'Summer Lovin' from the Grease soundtrack.

Clips of him dancing and engaging with fans went viral on TikTok, with some users cruelly branding him 'cringe'.

These videos have since resurfaced, with fans now interpreting his behaviour as a sad "cry for help".

One user commented: "This was a cry for help I'm sure of it," while another agreed: "Finally now people are saying this but it's too late."

A third added: "He wasn't stealing attention, he was saying goodbye", accompanied by a broken heart emoji.

Liam had shared about his travels on social media stating: "We're going to Argentina. One, because we have to, and two, because we want to, and three, because Niall Horan's playing down there and I think we might just go and say 'Hello'.

"It's been a while since me and Niall have spoken. We've got a lot to talk about and I would like to square up a couple things with the boy. No bad vibes or nothing like that, but just, we need to talk."

In what turned out to be his final Snapchat post, Liam, alongside 25-year-old Kate Cassidy, was captured enjoying a casual breakfast moment. Commenting in the post, Liam said, "This is the breakfast table, just enjoying breakfast and coffee even though it's 1pm."

He shared insights of them staying at a friend’s place and joked along with Kate, who teased that they were "losers" for sleeping in, reports the Mirror.
