Tommy Fury branded 'toxic' by ex-girlfriend in brutal post before Molly-Mae split

Tommy Fury has been hit with claims of being 'toxic' by his long-term ex-girlfriend Millie Roberts following the widespread rumours that he was unfaithful to his ex-fiancé Molly-Mae Hague.

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury fans were left stunned in August by the unexpected news that the former Love Island couple had called time on their five-year romance.

The former fiancées, both 25, met on the ITV dating show in 2019 and became parents to their daughter Bambi in January 2023. However, they made the shock decision to end their love story just a year after Tommy proposed to Molly-Mae.

This was followed by a surprising series of explosive allegations against Tommy, with infidelity rumours swirling around the split. Professional boxer Tommy, who is the younger sibling of heavyweight champ Tyson Fury, has consistently refuted all accusations of cheating, the Mirror reports.

As the news of his and Molly-Mae's shocking split hit the headlines, old stories resurfaced of Tommy's ex-girlfriend labelling him as 'toxic'.

Tommy, whose debut book Lightning Can Strike Twice: My Life as a Fury hit shelves today, was first accused of being toxic by his long-term ex when he entered the Love Island villa back in 2019. It was there that he fell deeply for Molly-Mae and asked her to be his girlfriend in touching scenes.

However, before the public could become smitten with Tommy's romantic side, his ex-girlfriend tried to damage his reputation by suggesting that Love Island viewers would witness his 'true colours' in the villa.

Tommy's ex, Millie Roberts, expressed her feelings in a now-removed Instagram post, remarking: "If this is his dream and he wants to go follow it, then all the best! What is toxic to me might not be to someone else. I am going to concentrate on me now."

Despite Tommy's claim that their relationship ended 10 months before his appearance on Love Island, Millie contested this, implying they split just weeks before his television debut, and she accused him of being untruthful for the sake of fame.

Millie didn't shy away from addressing the controversy on Instagram Stories, teasing Tommy with the message: "I know you're not the best at maths but this is no excuse". She paired this jibe with an old snapshot of them as evidence for her version of events.

Continuing her outspoken reaction, Millie declared: "It's mad what fame and money can do to people try and like the whole relationship was nothing. But okay Tommy, you do you."

In another pointed update at the time, she stated: "I'm not watching this year's Love Island, as you can imagine watching your ex graft other girls on TV is very hard and not something I want to put myself through."

Following their unexpected parting of ways, it's been rumoured that Tommy has not been entirely true to his striking partner, Molly-Mae, throughout their half-decade-long romance.

Despite allegations that Tommy was caught in an embrace with a blonde Danish woman in a nightclub over in Macedonia, his representatives have been quick to squash such gossip, insisting on his fidelity.

Meanwhile, whispers suggest that Molly-Mae found something quite unsettling on his phone and feels as though she's been living under false pretences for a considerable stretch.

A confidant relayed to Heat magazine: "She had recently found something suspicious on his phone, but she's not been very open to her friends about it. She's terrified that a girl is going to come out of the woodwork with a story to tell about Tommy, which will destroy her.

"She's been living a lie for months now. She wanted it to work more than anything but she's told some pals that Tommy has let her down in an awful way."

Speaking to The Mirror, a spokesperson for Tommy remarked: "Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media and he's consulting his lawyers."

In his heartfelt disclosure of the split, Tommy expressed: "I am heartbroken to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship. The past five years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad.

"Bambi is our priority. Please respect our privacy, and our families' privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time."
