Katya Jones has taken to Instagram to gush over dance partner Wynne Evans.

This comes after the Strictly Come Dancing stars found themselves involved in a scandal after Saturday night's show. Fans accused the Welsh opera singer of making the professional dancer feel uncomfortable. During the live episode on Saturday (12th of October) Wynne placed his hand on Katya's waist, causing social media to go into a frenzy.

The professional singer moved Wynne's hand placement to a different part of her waist, whilst showcasing a passionless face as the pair stood side by side. However, Katya, has shut down any claims that Wynne made her feel uncomfortable and insisted that it was an inside joke between the duo.

Katya has went onto instagram to fuss over Wynne, as they throw themselves right into rehearsing for the upcoming episode where the pair will preform to Mr Blue Sky by the Electric Light Orchestra.

The Mirror reports that, Katya shared a snap of Wynne posing in front of snaps of each judge with all, minus Shirley Ballas, having a drawn on moustache to match his Go Compare character.

Whilst Wynne showcases a large smile, Katya wrote: "I'm so proud of you @wynneevans," along with a loved-up emoji. As well as adding: "The sweetest welcome back to the rehearsal room."

Katya and Wynne have both came out and said that the whole stunt was a personal joke between the pair, gone wrong. And they've now opened up on BBC spin-off show It Takes Two, where Katya attempted to squash any rumours of a beef once and for all...

She told host Fleur East that she was in no way offended by Wynne, and that rumour is "total nonsense".

She said :"The idea that it made me feel uncomfortable or offended in any way is total nonsense, and those that have doubts, you guys have got it wrong. So hopefully this will be the end of it, and you just keep making me smile. I can't sit here watching this man being portrayed as someone he's not."
