Former Barcelona and Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has chosen between the two ahead of El Clasico.

The debate between the two stars was sparked by comments by legendary midfielder Marcos Senna, who said he prefers Yamal for several reasons.

Yamal won the La Liga Player of the Month award for September, while Vinicius recently bagged a sensational hat-trick for Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The Brazil winger is one of the favourites to win the 2024 Ballon d'Or award after a hugely successful 2023/24 campaign.

On the other hand, Yamal had a breakout season in 2023/24. He concluded it by helping Spain win the European Championship.

Speaking ahead of a highly anticipated El Clasico showdown, Aguero discussed the differences between the two wingers.

“In terms of style of play, speaking of talent, Lamine has many more things than Vinicius, although he has more experience and is more of a pler with the titles won with Real Madrid. Vinicius is one of the top three in the world but because of age and talent, I prefer Lamine," he said via Sportbible.

The retired Premier League legend also declined to predict Real Madrid's clash vs Barcelona set for Saturday evening.

Barcelona is top of La Liga with a three-point lead over their bitter rivals, which they could extend with a win.
