BBC Strictly Come Dancing fan says 'nobody' should vote for Sam and Nikita for one reason

Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts have humorously pleaded for 'no votes' for Sam Quek and Nikita Kuzmin following their steamy performance in the ballroom. The duo went all out as they returned in week six of the BBC One dance competition on Saturday night (October 26), which coincided with the programme's much-anticipated annual Halloween episode.

After a less-than-stellar routine the previous weekend, former Olympic hockey star Sam and her pro partner Nikita aimed for a strong rebound. Judging from the audience's response, their efforts to improve were successful, securing a solid 31 points out of 40 after executing an energetic Jive to Time Warp by The Rocky Horror Picture Show Cast.

However, it was their attire that stole the show. Nikita grabbed everyone's attention with a mid-routine costume switch alongside Sam, embracing his inner Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

And indeed, it was the costumes that had Strictly fans clamouring for a repeat performance. One fan, @karen_renton, tweeted: "Can nobody vote for Sam please so we get to see Nikita in that outfit again? #Strictly."

Another viewer, @danvers_adore, posted: "Sam and nikita? consider me GAGGED #strictly.", reports the Manchester Evening News.

Meanwhile, @linzirob expressed, "If there's one thing I love in #Strictly it's a costume change midway through the routine and Sam and Nikita didn't disappoint...Nikita in suspenders every week please."

In contrast, @V0RESE0KJIN noted, "So many mistakes in sam and nikita's jive but the SERVE of those costumes omg #strictly."

The results show of Strictly Come Dancing is set to air on BBC One on Sunday night (October 27). The professional dancers will perform a routine, choreographed by Matt Flint, featuring Carlos Gu dressed as the main character from Tim Burton's 1988 horror comedy film – and its sequel, which was released just last month.
