Over the past several months, we've seen numerous new Xbox controller designs hit storefronts, but Microsoft is showing its official Xbox headset some love by announcing a new Xbox Wireless Headset that makes numerous improvements over the original.

New Xbox Wireless Headset available now

The refreshed Xbox Wireless Headset features Dolby Atmos at no additional cost, which Microsoft says "delivers immersive, spatial audio that brings games to life in vivid detail." The battery life has also been improved, offering up to 20 hours of playtime (depending on your usage) on a single charge and an upgraded microphone with "enhanced auto-mute and voice isolation for crystal-clear communication." The headset supports Bluetooth 5.3 and has undergone a slight design change, swapping out the green accents on the original for black.

This new version of the Xbox headset is priced at $109.99 / £99.99, which is actually $10 / £10 more than the original model. The headset is now available to purchase through the Microsoft Store in select Xbox markets worldwide.

To celebrate the upcoming launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Microsoft has also released a bunch of Black Ops 6 Xbox accessories, including an Xbox Series X|S wrap.
