Players can officially start earning the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 achievements! Sadly, much like last year's Modern Warfare III, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Xbox achievements are being treated as a DLC pack for Activision's unified COD launcher, Call of Duty HQ.

The campaign in Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set during the early 1990s that furthers the story of the Black Ops universe. After a clandestine group infiltrates and seizes power at the highest levels of the CIA, Frank Woods and his team find themselves hunted by their former allies and are forced to go rogue. Woods and his crew must build their own team of rogue agents to unravel a mystery where nothing is what it seems. On top of the campaign, this year's Call of Duty features multiplayer and Zombies mode, and of course, the Black Ops 6 achievements ask you to explore all three modes for the completion.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 achievements are pretty varied, but some of the more notable achievements include Case in Point (beat the campaign on Veteran difficulty), Return of the King (reach Prestige 1), The Pale Horse Arrives (get 500 eliminations in multiplayer), Annihilation, (get 100 Elite Zombie eliminations), and To Know Your Enemy (get 100 kills while using Mutant Injections in Zombies). Overall, it looks like a pretty challenging list to complete. As mentioned previously, the Black Ops 6 achievements are annoyingly tied to the Call of Duty HQ launcher, much like last year's Modern Warfare III achievements.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launches for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on October 25 and joins Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass as a day-one addition. However, the first-person shooter is currently rolling out across the world, so if you're in New Zealand, you will be able to play now.

If you missed it, Microsoft also recently launched a bunch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Xbox accessories, including new Xbox controller customization options and a Series X wrap.
