Hoteliers Club welcomes Omar Abdullah’s return as Chief Minister - Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 17: The Jammu and Kashmir Hoteliers Club has extended its congratulations to Omar Abdullah on his recent appointment as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, along with his newly inducted cabinet colleagues. Mushtaq Chaya, Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Hoteliers Club, spoke enthusiastically about Abdullah’s return to office. “We are happy to see Omar Abdullah back in the chair of CM,” Chaya stated. “He has done a commendable job in his previous tenure, and we are hopeful that under his guidance, our tourism sector will grow in leaps and bounds.”

Chaya emphasised the Hoteliers Club’s commitment to collaborating with the new government. “The Hoteliers Club will work in tandem with the government for the betterment of the economy,” he assured. This pledge of cooperation indicates the industry’s readiness to partner with the administration in formulating and implementing policies that could boost tourism in the region.

   

Expressing confidence in Abdullah’s ability to promote tourism effectively, Chaya added, “We are hopeful that Omar as CM will be of great help in promoting tourism.” This optimism stems from Abdullah’s previous track record and his perceived understanding of the tourism sector’s importance to the state’s economy, he said.
