Militants abduct army man in J&K’s Anantnag, search ops launched - Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 08: The militants have reportedly abducted an Indian Territorial Army jawan from Shangus in Kokernag area of Anantnag district.

Preliminary reports said that another Territorial Army personnel managed to escape the abduction.

In response to the incident, the Army along with J&K Police has launched a large-scale search operation in the area, scouring and surrounding areas for any leads on the missing soldier’s whereabouts.
