“Because the federal government did what it needed to do and indicted this man, put him in jail and the judge kept him in jail - [the victims] tell me directly, ‘This validates my feelings. For so long I thought was my fault,’” said AVA Law Group attorney Andrew Van Arsdale. “It was not your fault you were victimized by a group of powerful people who operated for 30 plus years taking advantage of their wealth and power in the music industry.”

Assumably, the lawsuit is going to be lengthy. However, Van Arsdale noted a few disturbing claims from the filing. Many women who came forward claimed they were invited to one of Combs’ parties, given a laced drink and woke up the next morning after having blacked out to bruises and tearing on their vaginal and anal areas, Van Arsdale said. In one case, a woman’s hospital test came back positive for cocaine and horse tranquilizer. The women, some being minors, accused Combs and his colleagues of raping them while they were unconscious.

In one instance, Van Arsdale said a male plaintiff who was nine years old at the time of the alleged offense claimed he was promised a record deal with Combs at an audition but ended up being sexually abused. Another male plaintiff who was a minor claimed in exchange for stardom, he was brought into a “private meeting” with Combs where he was allegedly forced to perform oral sex on the rapper, according to Van Arsdale.

Buzbee welcomed the FBI to join the investigation and stated he will encourage his plaintiffs to talk to federal investigators as well. Co-counsel Van Arsdale said a hotline is set up for anyone else who desires to come forward, confirming the team is still investigating the outstanding number of claims.

This is a breaking story about the latest lawsuit against Bad Boy Records founder Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Come back for new developments.

Combs’ arrest was roughly six months after federal authorities raided his two homes in Los Angeles and Miami in March 2024, and four months after damning video footage leaked of him brutally assaulting ex-girlfriend and Bad Boy Records signee Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura at a hotel in 2016.
