IND vs BAN: Virat Kohli fails on India Test return, out for 6 in Chennai

Virat Kohli's return to the India Test side is off to the worst possible start as he was dismissed for just 6 runs in the first innings of the Chennai Test.

Virat Kohli's return to the Indian Test team hasn't had the best of starts as the star batter was dismissed for just 6 runs against Bangladesh during the first innings of the Chennai Test. Kohli was dismissed by the impressive Hasan Mahmud, who had wreaked havoc during the first session on day one of the first Test on Thursday, September 19.

Kohli, who had missed the England Test series due to the birth of his son, was expected to be one of the key players for India during the upcoming 10 Tests against Bangladesh, New Zealand and Australia. The star batter was called into action early on as India lost both Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill early. Kohli started off well with some good shots but once again fell to the ball outside off-stump. He would get a nick while attempting a cover drive that went straight to the hands of wicketkeeper Litton Das.
