Telugu actor NT Ramaswamy was slapped and assaulted by a woman at the theatrical screening of the recently released film, Love Reddy. In the film, Ramaswamy portrayed a negative character and separated the lead pair, played by Anjan Ramchendra and Shravani Krishnaveni. When the cast of Love Reddy visited the theatre, the woman, enraged at the sight of him, grabbed him by the collar and slapped him as she hated his on-screen portrayal.

A video is now going viral on social media. In the video, we are shown a clipping from actor Anjan Ramachendra's Love Reddy, where actor NT Ramaswamy's character hits himself on the head with a stone. We also see him disowning his on-screen daughter and hitting her with the stone.

Then, the video cuts to the portion where the film's cast meeting the audience inside a theatre. At that moment, a woman, enraged by NT Ramaswamy's on-screen character, slapped him and grabbed him by the collar. Though his co-stars came to Ramaswamy's rescue, the woman repeatedly charged at him.

The actor was visibly shocked and looked displeased by the sudden and unnecessary attack on him.
