Rapper and singer Cardi B cancelled her ONE MusicFest performance after announcing that she had been hospitalised following a medical emergency, leaving fans disappointed and concerned. In a social media post on October 23, Cardi B reassured her fans that she was safe and appreciated their understanding.

Cardi B's Instagram note read, "I am so sad to share this news, but I've been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won't be able to perform at ONE MusicFest. It breaks my heart that I won't get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Bardi Gang - thank you for understanding, and I'll be back better and stronger soon. Don't worry. Love you all - Cardi (sic)."

Concerned fans and followers reacted to the post and shared love and wishes for speedy recovery. "We love you. Health first (sic)", wrote a fan. Another fan wrote, "Your health is important. Get well soon (sic)." A third user wrote, "I hope you recover. We love you (red heart emoji) (sic)."

Following Cardi B's post, the organisers of ONE MusicFest, too, shared a statement that read, "Hey #OMFFam! Unfortunately, @iamcardib announced that she is no longer available to join us this year due to ongoing health issues. Let’s all keep her in our prayers for a full recovery! We are working hard to find a replacement at this late date. More to come soon (sic)."

According to Variety, Cardi B was slated to join a starry line-up on Saturday, October 26, featuring Fantasia, Ari Lennox, Method Man and Redman, Young Nudy, Larry June, and more. Artists including Victoria Monét, GloRilla, Keyshia Cole and Sexyy Red, among others were scheduled to headline the show.

On the personal front, Cardi B recently welcomed her third child with her ex-husband Offset. She shared the exciting news on September 12 with heartwarming pictures from the hospital.
