Video: 66 shops gutted in explosion at firecracker market in Jharkhand on Diwali

In a major accident on the occasion of Diwali, a huge fire broke out at firecracker shops near Garga Bridge in Jharkhand's Bokaro on Thursday. The fire was so big that the flames could be seen from far away places. About 66 shops were completely gutted to ashes in the incident.

Before the fire tenders could reach the spot, firecrackers worth lakhs of rupees had been burnt to ashes. At least four fire tenders reached the spot, and after a lot of effort the fire was brought under control.
