NTET 2024: NTA extends registration deadline to Oct 22 for teaching aspirants

NTA NTET 2024: Applicants can visit the official NTA website to complete their registration. Candidates can also make corrections to their application form on October 24 and 25, 2024.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the National Teachers Eligibility Test (NTET) 2024 to October 22, allowing more time for interested candidates to apply. Originally set for October 14, the new deadline offers additional days for postgraduates in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy who aspire to pursue teaching. Applicants can visit the official NTA website to complete their registration.

Candidates can also make corrections to their application form on October 24 and 25, 2024.

The final date for fee payment through Credit/Debit, Net Banking, or UPI is October 23. NTET is being conducted for the first time by the NTA on behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH, with approval from the Ministry of Education, offering teaching opportunities to qualified postgraduates in these disciplines.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The minimum eligibility criteria for appearing in the test for the Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy will be a postgraduate degree holder in a discipline recognised by the Commissions or the erstwhile Central Council for Indian System of Medicine/ Central council of Homoeopathy.
