The airstrike in Dahiyeh came immediately after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the U.N. He had stated in his speech that Israel’s campaign against Hezbollah will continue.
No information about victims is available at this time. It was directed against the Hezbollah headquarters, which is situated beneath residential structures, according to Israeli army spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari. About 30 kilometres north of Beirut, four buildings were turned to rubble by the explosion, which was so strong that it rocked homes and rattled windows, according to Hezbollah's Al-Manar TV. With their sirens screaming, ambulances could be seen traveling to the explosion site.
