Watch: Lady Justice Statue stands tall at Supreme Court with blindfold taken off

A video of the Lady Justice Statue at the Supreme Court has gone viral as it has undergone a landmark change with its blindfold removed and a copy of the Constitution replacing the sword it traditionally held in one of her hands, in a departure from the familiar sight people had about the statue. However, the scale symbolising equality of justice holds firm as before.

The statue was made last year, installed in April 2023 when the new (present) Judges Library was made functional, sources said.
