Actor Jennifer Lopez, who filed for divorce from her husband Ben Affleck in August of this year, recently revealed that she is somewhat grateful to God for their recent breakup. She also expressed that she does not feel guilty about the pain caused by the separation.

"That doesn’t mean it didn’t almost take me out for good. It almost did. But now, on the other side of it, I think to myself, f***k, that is exactly what I needed. Thank you, God. I’m sorry it took me so long. I’m sorry that you had to do this to me so many times", she told comedian Nikki Glaser for Interview magazine.

She continued, "I should have learnt it two or three times ago. I get it. You had to hit me really hard over the head with a f***king sledgehammer. You dropped the house on me. Don’t have to do it again."

Jennifer further clarified that this doesn't mean that she has everything figured out.

A new report suggests that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are navigating the complexities of their divorce while maintaining a close relationship due to their intertwined lives. A source told ET Online, "They all got very close during their relationship and there's still a great deal of love there," shedding light on the bond they continue to share.

Another insider explained that the former couple is handling their divorce amicably, partly because of their shared business interests and joint properties. "Jen and Ben are still working through sorting out property and projects that they had vested interests in, and it's not as if they can just cut each other out of one another's lives so quickly," the source revealed.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck first dated in the early 2000s, with a brief engagement before parting ways in 2004. They rekindled their romance in 2021 and were married in a lavish ceremony in 2022.
