Before the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 gets underway on October 3, it’s time for the warm-up matches in the tournament. The practice matches will take place from September 28 to October 1. The Sevens Stadium and ICC Academy Ground and ICC Academy Ground No 2 in Dubai will host 10 matches across three days.

Harmanpreet Kaur’s India will face Hayley Matthews’ West Indies on Sunday, September 29 at the ICC Academy Ground No 2 in Dubai. Their second and last warm-up match is against Laura Wolvaardt’s South Africa on Tuesday, October 1 at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai.

India’s opening match in the World Cup is against Sophie Devine’s New Zealand on October 4 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Defending champions Australia will play Sri Lanka and West Indies in their warm-up matches before they head to the main event.
