Actor-director Divya Khossla Kumar has accused actor Alia Bhatt of rigging the box office numbers of her latest film Jigra. This comes amid Khossla's allegations that the Alia Bhatt-starrer, which hit the screens this week, is a copy of her film Savi released in May this year.

She claimed that Alia allegedly purchased tickets for 'fake collections'. Sharing a photo of an empty theatre, Divya wrote, “Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. Theatre was totally empty, all theaters going empty everywhere. #Aliabhatt me sach mein Bahut #Jigra hai, khud hi tickets karide aur fake collections announce kar diye. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt’s film opened with a single-digit figure at the domestic box office. The film, directed by Vasan Bala, was expected to collect in the range of Rs 4-5 crore nett on its first day, and it did just the same. The thriller earned Rs 4.25 crore nett on Friday, reported the trade website Sacnilk.
