Kamal Haasan and ace director Mani Ratnam's much-awaited film Thug Life is all set to hit the theatres on June 5, 2025. Sharing a high-octane teaser on the actor's birthday on November 7, the makers announced the exciting news.

Sharing a post on his official X handle, Kamal Haasan also shared the release date news. His post read, "Every role is an evolution, every film a journey. #ThugLife (sic)."

The story of Thug Life has been written by its star producer, Kamal Haasan. Apart from Haasan, the film has an ensemble cast including Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Abhirami, Nasser, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Gautham Karthik, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Vaiyapuri in pivotal roles.

Jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies and Red Giant Movies, Thug Life has its music composed by AR Rahman, editing by Sreekar Prasad and cinematography by Ravi K Chandran.
