Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, along with Sonia Gandhi, arrived in Kerala on Tuesday night, a day before marking her electoral debut by filing her nomination in the Wayanad Lok Sabha bypoll.

Upon her arrival, Priyanka was greeted by locals who also posed for pictures with the Congress general secretary. Several vidos surfaced, showing Priyanka accepting gifts, meeting locals and posing for pictures late on Tuesday.

She met an ex-serviceman who shared that his elderly mother, despite her condition, prayed for Priyanka every day and wished she could meet her in person. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra decided to visit their home, with a video surfacing online.

"The visit was filled with warmth and heartfelt conversations. In a touching gesture, the mother presented her cherished rosary, which she had used for years, as a symbol of her blessings and affection," Congress said in a statement.
