Politician Baba Siddique's murder sent shock waves across the industry. He was shot dead outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Mumbai. As per reports, Lawrence Bishnoi's gang has taken the responsibility of the murder of Baba Siddique. The politician was known for being kind and friendly. His Iftaar parties were the most famous. He was the one who got Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to be friends again. A lot of celebrities from Bollywood and TV industry showed up to pay their last respects. But Shah Rukh Khan was missing.

Celebrities like Sanjay Dutt, Sohail Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma and many more visited Baba Siddique's home to extend their condolences. Salman Khan reportedly cancelled the shooting of Bigg Boss 18 and showed up to bid a final adieu to his friend. But Shah Rukh Khan wasn't seen. Now a report in entertainment news section of Times Now suggests that Shah Rukh Khan did not attend the funeral as the Jawan actor does not wanted get associated in the politician's murder case. A source informed the portal, "Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t want to get associated in the politician’s murder case. The case is also related to Salman Khan and King Khan, for that matter, wishes to stay away from this! Knowing how Lawrence Bishnoi’s circuit works, Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t want any harm on him anymore." This is the reason why he chose to distance himself from the murder case by not attending the funeral.

The investigation is currently underway in Baba Siddique's murder case. Reportedly, three people have been arrested in the case. A lot of reports suggest that along with Baba Siddique, his son Zeeshan was also on the hit-list. Some reports also suggest that comedian Munawar Faruqui is also on the hit list of Bishnoi gang.
