Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's divorce is in the past now. They both have gone their separate ways and are focusing on their lives. However, once again they hit the headlines thanks to Telangana Minister Konda Surekha's comment on their divorce. The minister made a comment stating that KT Rama Rao's interference in Nagarjuna's family led to the divorce of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The shocking claims about KTR tapping actresses phones and blackmailing them went viral in no time. Samantha took to her social media account to strongly react to the remarks made. Now, Naga Chaitanya has also come out in support of his ex-wife.

After Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Naga Chaitanya took to his social media accounts to pen a note slamming Konda Surekha. He wrote that divorce was a painful decision to make but he and Samantha mutually decided to part ways. He revealed the reason behind their separation stating they had different life goals and interests. He then commented on the 'baseless' and 'ridiculous' gossip going around on this matter. He wrote that he remained silent as he has deep respect for his former spouse and family. Commenting on Minister Konda Surekha's remarks, he added that all of it is false. He also wrote, "It is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Women deserve to be supported and respected. Taking advantage and exploiting the personal life decisions of celebrities for the sake of media headlines is shameful (sic)." This is big in entertainment news.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), he wrote that he condemns the comments made by Minister Konda Surekha and urged her to not use the lives of movie stars for politics. He called all the comments irrelevant and false. Asking to respect people's privacy he also wrote, "I request you (Minister Konda Surekha) to withdraw your comments immediately.
