Mumbai News Today Live: The incident occurred at the backside of the Bhushi Dam under a waterfall at around 12:30 p.m. Deceased, identified as Shahista Ansari (36), Amima Ansari (13), and Umera Ansari (8), have been recovered.

Mumbai News Today Live: Rescue operations by the Indian Navy at Bhushi dam in Lonavala have resumed on Monday morning after a woman and her four children drowned in a waterfall here on Sunday. So far, three bodies have been recovered and two remain missing.

After much wait, Maharashtra state police is all set to implement three new criminal laws; Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita , Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Act, from Monday July 1. The Maharashtra police headquarters have also circulated a ‘Crime Information Booklet’ to assist police officers in the transition from the old statutes to new ones.

Along with this, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation held an overnight anti-encroachment drive on Sunday night. Several hotels, bars, pubs and hookah parlours were razed off with JCBs.
