Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing a fresh round of legal trouble with a slew of lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault, including an alleged incident involving a 16-year old-boy.

Filed on Monday, the series of claims target Combs, also known as P Diddy, alleging rape, sexual assault on males, and child molestation. In a New York federal court, no fewer than six anonymous lawsuits have been lodged against the music big shot by two from women under the pseudonym Jane Does and four by men as John Does.

The number of purported victims gearing up to take action against Combs now exceeds 100 following his arrest last month for sex trafficking. Among the claimants is a North Carolina man, one of the John Does, who asserts that he was molested by Combs during one of the star's illustrious white parties in the Hamptons, Long Island, back in 1998 when he was just 16.

Combs' attorney, previously addressing earlier allegations, remarked that his client "cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus".

Expressing confidence in clearing his name, Combs' lawyer said: "He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation. Mr Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors."

Combs, 54, pleaded not guilty last month to a three-count indictment charging him with using his business empire, including record label Bad Boy Entertainment, to transport male and female sex workers across state lines to take part in recorded sexual performances called "freak offs". He has remained in jail since his arrest on 16 September.

Last week, the music star cut a forlorn figure in court, where he faced the music after three weeks in federal custody. The shamed hip-hop mogul was cuffed on September 16, facing grave accusations like sex trafficking and racketeering. Swapping dazzling designer outfits for drab prison garb, Diddy presented himself before the judge on Thursday.

Captured by courtroom artists, the 54-year-old appeared despondent, donning an oversized jailhouse shirt at the hearing that centered on evidence selection for his trial. But in the midst of his woes, spotting his mum and kids in the attendees sparked a brief smile on Diddy's face; their presence a pillar amidst claims from 120 women alleging abuse by the star.

The safety of his brood prompted a residence shift to New York following frightening mansion raids. The artist also allegedly employed Cassie's decade-strong record to manipulate her, with releases that were never meant to surface. As Diddy's kin entered the legal premises, they were met with contempt and insults, some individuals scornfully telling 84 year old Janice Combs: "Your son is a predator."
