Some People to Be Somewhere in John Mulaney’s 2025 Talk Show

Either John Mulaney is not done polling strangers about their vehicle of choice or he has some other esoteric artistic ambitions to fulfill, because the comedian is planning to return to Netflix in 2025 for a follow-up to his 2024 live talk-show extravaganza Everybody’s in L.A. “We’d like to figure out how to do more,” Mulaney told Vulture when asked about the possibility of a continuation in August. “It was a very interesting experiment in this confined amount of time … We had lots of bits we didn’t get to.” If Netflix, which announced the news on October 10, knows anything else about what this sequel will entail or who will be involved, right now they’re keeping it under wraps.

Mulaney will be busy through the end of the holiday season starring in his pal Simon Rich’s Broadway show All In: Comedy About Love, so he may not get to this next project for a while. But when it comes time for him to sit down and figure out what the next iteration will look like, we have some ideas.
