West Country 'Wizard' dragged off British Airways plane after Donald Trump row

A 'wizard' from the South West has been identified as the British Airways passenger who was dragged off of a flight following a row over wearing a 'MAGA hat'. It was reported last week that two women came to blows after discussing their views on Donald Trump before flying from Heathrow Airport to Austin, Texas.

The two woman, one in her 40s and one in her 60s, broke out in a fight on Monday, October 28, with the police involved, it was reported. Both women were unknown at the time of the reports but former TV host, now magician Antonia Harman, from Newquay in Cornwall, has revealed herself to be the woman in the MAGA hat.

Antonia said she was the one attacked but ultimately was removed from the flight herself. She said she was punched out of the blue by a woman in her sixties who she believes is from Mexico.

"People hate Trump so much that you can't talk about him - it's a political war," the 43-year-old told the Daily Mail. She said she had been talking to people on the shuttle bus about her plans on arrival in Austin, Texas.

Talk turned to politics and Antonia spoke to a man in his 30s about Donald Trump appearing on the Joe Rogan podcast. She went on: "I'm a big fan of Donald Trump and I make no secret of that, I think you should be able to air your political views without being physically attacked for them."

Antonia said that as the bus neared the plane an older woman walked into her, and as she turned the woman "went berserk" and "looked possessed by a demon".

She said: "She punched me with full force in the face and then moved away. I was so shocked and horrified that I burst into tears, I could not believe what had just happened.

"She went in the direction of economy and I went and took my seat in business class. For about five minutes I sat there crying and shaking and then felt I had to say something to someone."

Antonia said she asked for an in-flight supervisor and explained what had happened. At first they were sympathetic, she said, but the mood on the plane changed. Antonia believes the other woman claimed that she was the one assaulted.

Then, Antonia claims she was told to leave the plane by armed police and was "marched off in front of other passengers".

British Airways declined to comment. A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police said: "Shortly after 12.45pm on Monday, October 28, police at Heathrow were made aware of an incident involving two women waiting to board a plane in Terminal 5.

"A woman in her 40s and a woman in her 60s made counter allegations of affray. Enquiries are ongoing."
