BBC Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice has excited fans with 'breaking news' as he announces a reunion with one of his friends and former Strictly Come Dancing colleagues.

The 34-year-old, known for his years as a professional on the popular BBC dance show, found himself in the middle of a dramatic controversy earlier this year when an investigation was launched following claims made by his ex-celebrity dance partner, Amanda Abbington.

After several months, the BBC concluded its inquiry, stating it had "upheld some, but not all" of Amanda's complaints and extended an apology to her, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Responding to the findings, Giovanni's representative said: "We are pleased that this six-month review has not found any evidence of threatening or abusive behaviour by Giovanni. Giovanni is relieved that the overwhelming majority of allegations out to the BBC have not been upheld and looks forward to continuing his work on Dancing With The Stars in Italy this season."

Putting the controversy behind him, Giovanni took to Instagram on Wednesday (October 9) to reveal his new 2025 dancing tour 'Together Again', alongside his good friend Anton Du Beke.

He shared a promotional poster for the forthcoming tour and captioned it: "BREAKING NEWS! If you were wondering now is confirmed ! ! the double act is back on the road!".

Strictly Come Dancing stars Giovanni Pernice and Anton Du Beke have announced they are reuniting for a new tour next summer, with Giovanni taking to social media to share the news: "Me and my best friend @mrantondubeke are back on tour next summer ! www.antonandgiovanni.com See you all there."
