Kerry Katona splits from fiancé Ryan Mahoney after six years

Kerry Katona has split from her fiancé Ryan Mahoney after six years together.

The former Atomic Kitten singer got engaged to the personal trainer in 2021 but the couple have been fighting "like cat and dog" in recent weeks.

Kerry has now revealed she is single again while chatting with fans on social media while her mum Sue is sick in hospital.

Sue has been staying in hospital after blood clots were found in her lungs last month. Sharing an update on Instagram while visiting her mum, one fan asked her: "So much love to you both, and is the Dr single?"

To which Kerry replied: "No, but I am!"

The admission comes after the mum-of-five revealed she has been arguing a lot with Ryan.

"I’ve not had the best time this week, it has been tough. Last week I was feeling really triggered because of the Liam Payne news and how similar it was to my late husband George’s death," she wrote in her recent OK! column.

"And this week my mum hasn’t been well, her health is really declining and it is worrying for me. It’s hard to see. Ryan and I have been arguing like cat and dog too so we’ve not had the best time. We’re not in a great place at the moment.

"I do like to be honest when things are like this, though, because no one is perfect and everyone has their issues. I’d much rather be real about it."

Kerry also said she didn't know if she and Ryan would ever get married, as she was wary of becoming a wife again after her previous marriages ended in heartbreak.

The TV personality shares daughters Molly and Lilly with Brian McFadden, Heidi and Max with Mark Croft, and youngest child DJ with George Kay, who died in 2019.
