Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks' mother was reportedly embroiled in a row with BBC security after being barred from entering the studio on Saturday.

According to reports, the former TOWIE favourite's mum Tracey arrived to the studio late ahead of her son's performance with dance partner Jowita Przystal.

In pictures obtained by The Mirror, Tracy, dressed in a green and white patterned dress, was seen waving her hand in the air as she engaged in a heated conversation with staff.

The publication reports that Tracey was screaming: 'Let me in. Let me in, I'm Pete's mum!' in front of alarmed security as she tried to gain access to the building.

It is said that Tracey argued her case for around 15 minutes before a production member reportedly let her in, allowing her to join the rest of the audience.

MailOnline have contacted representatives of Pete and Strictly Come Dancing for comment.

This week, Pete and Jowita took on a Rumba to the Oasis hit Don't Look Back In Anger, in a bid to land a spot in Halloween Week on October 26.

It comes after Pete was caught making a lewd remark about his tattoo to his dance partner Jowita moments before their routine last week.

A new video released by the show uses a microphone to decipher what the couples are saying to each other before, during and after their performances.

Pete, 36, was heard making a confession about having a diamond tattoo on his bottom to Jowita as they larked about on the dance floor.

Last Saturday the partnership performed a Quickstep to The Jam's Town Called Malice, earning them an impressive 29 points.

At the start of the routine, Jowita asking Pete as part of their performance: 'Oh hello sir. Hello would you like a new tattoo?'

Pete replied: 'I would yeah,' to which Jowita said: 'What about the bird?'

She then asked: 'What about the diamond?'

He then quipped: 'Nah, I've got that on my ar*e.'

Fans commented on the video sharing their love for the funny moment, writing: ''No I've got that on my ar*e, we can never lose Pete';''No I've got that on my ar*se'!!! Omg Pete, keep going you're absolutely smashing it!!!!'

And: 'Loved Pete and Chris, both my winners...both doing fab and improving, and so entertaining, love them'; 'Loved it, love Pete & Jowita'.

Rumours of a romance between the reality star and his dance partner Jowita have been been brewing after it was claimed he had fallen 'head over heels for her'.
