Sacha Baron Cohen brought back his alter egos, Borat and Ali G, during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday.

Cohen, 53, who recently said he may never reprise his Borat character, changed his mind as he used his famous personas to poke fun at presidential hopefuls Donald Trump and Kamala Harris

While the audience cheered, he first transformed into Ali G, with a stick-on goatie, red hat and glasses, as Fallon asked him to moderate a debate between Trump and Harris.

'Yo, big up yourself Kimmel,' he told the host while throwing up signs with his hands, in reference to Fallon's late night rival Jimmy Kimmel

'Yo, yo Mr. Trump, you's been convicted of 32 crimes, you stole classified documents, you boned enough porn stars and you ain't never paid no taxes. Respect! You's my hero.'

When Fallon asked him to address Harris, Ali G said: 'Me's also got a question for that fit honey. What is you doin' later? A'ight.'

'When me look at you on da television, me get a massive election. A'ight!'

'Yo yo yo, can I just say to both of you, dat whatever happens me is just glad the next president won't have white skin.'

He then pulled off his disguise.

Fallon went on to ask him what would Borat do.

When Cohen complained that he thought they were going to talk about serious acting, Fallon replied: 'Yeah I mean, your acting is great. We'll get into - you're a dramatic actor. But I just... Borat interviewing both people running for president, that would be very interesting to see.'

Cohen — who split from wife Isla Fisher after 14 years of marriage in April — then put on a grey suit jacket and a mustache, before attempting to kiss Fallon. 'Jimmy Fallers. Wawawa!' he exclaimed.

Borat then made a crude hand gesture pretending to squeeze a woman's cleavage. 'You have a womens in the audience,' he commented.

'Borat stop. We do have women in the audience. Borat, what would you ask Donald Trump?'

'In my country we have KFC. Kazak Fried Cat. It pussy licking good!'

After doing a quick dance, he asked: 'Why is a woman on stage? Is it Stormy Daniels? She nice! Wawaweewa!'

He then addressed Harris, saying: 'You are a woman, a person of colors, and married to a Jew. I advise you not to come to Kazakstan, you have already made 3 out of 4 crimes punishable by death.'

'Please do not tell me that you have also made sexy time with an underage bear.'

'Mr. Trump, that reminds me, after your visit 5 years ago to the beautiful bear pageant, we paid the hush money to get the grizzly. Problem solved and thank you for your nuclear secrets in return. You scratch my back, I scratch your hrum,' he said, before pulling off the mustache.

Cohen was on the show to promote his TV series Disclaimer — created by Alfonso Cuarón — which premiered October 11 on Apple TV+.

It comes days after he said he may never bring back alter ego Borat after being forced into hiding to escape a pro-gun mob.

The comedy star reprised his role of Borat Sagdiyev for the 2020 comedy satire Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.

However, he drew fury from pro-gun activists when he turned up at a rally and mocked them on camera.

Recalling the terrifying moment he had to hide from the group, Sacha told the SmartLess podcast: 'The last one became so extreme. After that gun rally, I was essentially on the run.

'I had a militia kind of following me. I was going from safe house to safe house for about four days. It became so crazy that you realize there's a certain amount of skill and preparation, but also you're going to be lucky. And at some point, your luck runs out.'

The actor survived the ordeal, but hinted he won't revive Borat again, explaining he only created his 2020 film after feeling compelled to comment on the US presidential election that year.

He continued: 'I think the danger element meant I just didn't want to do it again. I felt I had to do it for that election. I had to do it. I was terrified about what's going to happen.'
